Tax Credit Program

Did You Know? Your State B&O Taxes Can Stay Local!

The Main Street Tax Credit Incentive program (MSTCI) provides a Business & Occupation (B&O) or Public Utility tax (PUT) credit for donations given to eligible downtown revitalization organizations, such as the Stevenson Downtown Association

We know times are tight! This is a way to stimulate our local economy, and it's a pledged donation that does not need to be contributed until November!

The deadline is 5 p.m. March 31 to apply for the tax credit on the DOR website for the SDA's Q1 allotment. Here is a MSTCPIP FAQ sheet to help guide you.

Once your business’ donation request is approved by the Department of Revenue, you are eligible for a tax credit worth 75% of the contribution to your downtown revitalization organization.

You must make your contribution to the Stevenson Downtown Association by November 15. If you'd like to be invoiced by the SDA, contact Kelly O'Malley-McKee, Executive Director at
