Calling Volunteers for Spruce Up Stevenson!

Downtown Clean-Up Day is May 1 at 9 a.m.

The Stevenson Downtown Association is hosting a community clean-up day on Saturday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to Noon. Anyone is welcome to attend to help Spruce Up Stevenson in preparation for Spring and Summer.

“We’re asking folks to bring their own gardening tools (if they have them) and check in at the Chamber office for their assignment,” says Executive Director Kelly O’Malley-McKee. “We have a small gift of appreciation for everyone’s time, as well as a lunch voucher to use on Saturday at participating downtown restaurants.”

Volunteers are encouraged to wear masks near non-family members, and will be assigned to spruce up areas in Downtown Stevenson while safely distanced.

The downtown association acknowledges the following for their generous partnership in 2021 Spruce Up Stevenson: City of Stevenson, Columbia Hardware, Port of Skamania County, Proactive Pest Control and the Skamania Chamber of Commerce.

The Stevenson Downtown Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, affiliated with both Washington Main Street and Main Street America. This coalition of local business owners, public officials and community leaders works to promote and revitalize Downtown Stevenson and enrich our local heritage. More at stevensonmainstreet.org.
